Strawberry Love Note Pop Tarts
I originally made these “love notes” as a Valentine’s Day treat, but I quickly learned that you can turn them into a year-round snack that taste just like strawberry Pop Tarts! Best yet, they are easy to make and only require three ingredients!
Ingredients:
Square wonton wrappers
Strawberry jam
Olive oil cooking spray, Pam spray, etc. (whatever you have in your pantry)
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Spray a baking sheet with cooking spray.
Lay wonton wrappers out on the baking sheet so they look like diamonds.
Place a small dollop of jam in the center of each wonton wrapper.
Fold three of the corners into the center so that the wonton wrapper looks like an open envelope. Press down lightly to seal. Use a small heart cookie cutter or a knife to stamp out remaining wonton wrappers into hearts, and place a heart in the center of each “envelope”.
Alternatively, if you want to make Pop Tarts instead of love notes, fold in all 4 corners.
Spray the top of the love notes / Pop Tarts with cooking spray. Bake at 375 degrees for 5-7 minutes, until golden brown.
